Some days I get this done early on in the day, other days I need to sit myself down at the desk and put paint on plastic. Today was absolutely the latter…
The morning started off kinda nice — over the last four weeks I’ve been engaging with a Game Facilitator Camp on how to run GMless/GMfull games put together by The Open Hearth. I really enjoyed it, and have been loving getting more involved with the Hearth, and encourage anyone interested in TTRPGs to check them out. They’re focused heavily on running indie rpgs, storygames, and other ttrpgs with a focus on inclusivity. It’s pretty great.
Anyway, for that final session I facilitated a game of MOBILE FRAME ZERO: FIREBRANDS which was fun, though I think I’d like to run it over more than a 2h one-shot. Maybe 4-6 total playtime would fit better. Definitely would be something I could see running well on a stream or stream series in the future.

Now, for the actual painting. I’m slowly working through the Legitimate Salvage crew and today I started colour-blocking for our Medic “Ick”. I am trying to go more of a firefly scheme for any of the unarmoured folk so I’m playing with earth tones (greens, yellows, and browns).

Tomorrow I’ll keep going and see how it comes together with more than just a single thin coat…
