So, to what I did. I set myself the goal to finish making my mini for “Smash”, an android character I rolled on stream for an upcoming Legitimate Salvage project I’m working on. The thing about Smash is that they’re effectively a robot wearing a bikini, and is completely genderless – though despite this, or perhaps because of it, every single one of their crew (the magenta figures in the background) find themselves unexpectedly attracted to them.

That didn’t take me the full 30 mins, so I got back into my Dark Age Warriors from yesterday, putting together 3 spear men, an axe man, a swordsman, and two javelineers. It’s such a versatile kit, and I’m aiming for 8 of each (7 swordsman, one will have a battle-horn and act as a “leader” of sorts. Still not sure what game this will be for, but with this layout, I think I could play a game of 28mm Blade Wrath once it gets to my door. At the very least it’ll help me decide on a paint scheme for my 15mm army.

Something I thought would be fun to do, would be to show off what I’m listening to on these 30-min streak-sessions. Today I was working my way through my podcast backlog which has built up over the last few weeks. Today it was Episode 107 of The Mechbay podcast. I’m super excited for the new rulebook for BattleTech and am eating up any and all discussions around the place. If you’re interested in BT, play it, or are somewhat curious, these guys are pretty great, podcast wise.

Tonight I’ve got my Lancer group, otherwise I’d spend a little more time base coating or the like, but alas, my time is short today. Let’s hope tomorrow brings more hobby success!
