Today was a day of driving, driving, family, driving, and of course, driving. I took my partner to visit my hometown for the first time, spend some time with my brother and his kids, as well as my mum.

Honestly, wonderful to experience nostalgia for the place I grew up, and a complete reaffirmation that I, under no circumstances, will ever live there again.

Luckily however, I did manage to play a quick game of “Tallest Goblin.”

For those unfamiliar with Tallest Goblin, it’s a game by Billion Dollar Clown Farm and the rules are tremendously simple.

To play, you need is 1 goblin and height. During the deployment phase (the only phase) you simply needed to place your goblin in the tallest place possible and take a photo. If your goblin is taller than everyone else in the world’s you win; if not, that’s okay.

This was something Billion did in 2024, for a competition, and I recently saw Trent play this with some friends in his Permadeath Hobby Blog and as he’s a massive inspiration to me and what I do, I felt it was something I could play and compete against my own PB in.
